Science Night test tubes

I am excited to announce that we will be holding a Family Science Night for our SCS students and families on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 6:00 pm.  Ron Defronzo, a former science teacher and recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science Teaching, will assist students and their families with a hands-on science lesson through the dissection of a squid.  Dissecting a squid is a great way to understand the complexity of the organism and the different components of this creature's anatomy and physiology.

If you and your child would like to attend this fantastic event, please complete the  Google Form by Friday, October 18, 2019, so that we can be sure that we have enough squid for this event.  Note: if you have multiple students attending, please fill out the information for each student.  If you have already completed the form, you do not need to complete it again. There is no cost to participate in this event.  Students must be accompanied by a family member.
