The Sterling Community School is an environment in which all students regularly demonstrate and are acknowledged for exemplary behavior, and in which all staff and faculty consistently respond to student misbehavior in a manner that effectively reduces its occurrence. Students, staff, and faculty enjoy coming to school as is evident by high rate of student attendance and participation in classes. Parental involvement adds to positive school climate and community satisfaction with Sterling Community School.
To promote a school climate that supports teacher and students through reinforcement of positive behaviors.
School-wide PBIS increases the capacity of schools to educate all students utilizing research-based school-wide, classroom, and individualized intervention.
