In addition to fundraising activities organized by the PTO, parents can choose to participate in a variety of other fundraising activities/events that help to raise funds to supplement the cost of educating students at Sterling Community School. Parents, as well as other members of the Sterling community, can volunteer participate in these activities and, by doing so, make it possible for our students to have access to materials, supplies, and equipment beyond what the annual district operational budget allows.
Fundraising also encourages families to become involved in their children’s school and provides opportunities for us to create and sustain a strong school community. It takes many people to help assure the success of the fundraising activities and events. Please consider getting involved and helping the school provide more learning opportunities for our students, your children.
However you choose to participate in our fundraising endeavors, we are grateful for your support and participation. We invite you to explore the fundraising opportunities included in the list to the left side of this webpage. Furthermore, we encourage you to let us know if you learn about a great fundraising activity that meets the requirements of the Board of Education's policy for school fundraising.
