One of Sterling Public School District's most reliable tools for communicating accurate information to families and staff members is through the use of its SchoolMessenger communications system. The system allows the district and the Sterling Community School to send important voice-recorded phone, text or e-mail notifications informing our extended school community of everything from a school emergency to announcement of a special event or activity.
Sterling Community School's district and school offices are charged with spearheading the district's SchoolMessenger system and evolving it so that it best meets our information-sharing needs. Starting this fall, families and staff members can customize the types of messages they would like to receive from the district and their school as well as how they would like to receive those messages. The district also provides a text messaging option for people who prefer text message notifications instead of voice or email messages. Simply follow the procedures for signing up for the SchoolMessenger service and be "in the know" regarding special messages that are communicated from the school administration or the Superintendent.
