Staffing Profile


The Sterling Public School District staffing model is configured to serve the student enrollment and the particular educational / learning needs of the students. The School Principal and the Director of Special Services / Early Childhood Education have the responsibility, in conjunction with the Superintendent, for determining how many employee positions are needed each school year to meet the needs of the particular students enrolled. The class-size ratio of students-to-staff may be fluid from year-to-year depending upon the number of core teachers employed and specific grade-level programs required to meet the needs of the students.
